  • What services are included on the Logo Signs?
Gasoline, food, lodging, and camping services are eligible for participation in the logo signing program.

  • Are all businesses providing these key services eligible to participate?
There are specific conditions which each type of business must meet to participate in the program. Click on the Eligibility Criteria link for a listing of the specific eligibility criteria required for participation.

  • Can seasonal businesses participate in the logo signing program?
Yes. The months of operation (i.e. MAY-OCT) must be included on the bottom of the mainline business panel.

  • How much will it cost to participate in the program?
    • $540 annually per year/per direction for mainline signs and
    • $120 annual fee per year/per direction for ramp and trailblazer signs
NOTE: The above fees do not include fabrication of the business panels.

  • How will the signs be maintained?
All logo sign maintenance will be performed by Minnesota Logos or its contractors.

  • Once I am in the program can my business panel be removed?
Yes. Certain conditions can result in the removal of your business panel. If a business requests participation in the Logo Program, and the signs are full, the business (from the same service) which is farthest from the interchange will be bumped from the program one year from the written notification of intent to bump, or at the end of its contract, whichever is sooner. There are also certain instances where a business from a different service may bump your panel off of the signs. Fully eligible businesses can always bump substantially eligible businesses regardless of service type or distance from interchange.

  • How will the distance be measured to determine if my business meets the mileage eligibility criteria?
The distance is measured via driving distance from the center point of the interchange to the nearest edge of the driveway of the business. If the business is in a strip mall, the distance is measured to the door of the business.

  • How will it be determined what businesses have priority if more than six (6) businesses in any one category wish to participate?
Priority is always based on proximity to the exit with the closest business having the highest priority. Space must always be made available to accommodate a minimum of two gas, two food, and two lodging establishments if they wish to participate.
